Small Item Shipping 
Items with smaller dimensions and weights will be shipped via UPS or Fed Ex Ground service. In most cases, 3-5 Business Day Service is utilized. Upon placement of an order, a shipping quote will be given. ALL SHIPPING QUOTES ARE BASED UPON SIZE/WEIGHT OF ORDER.
Large Item Shipping
Furniture items will be shipped by our carefully chosen freight carrier company. ALL SHIPPING QUOTES WILL BE DETERMINED BY CONTENTS OF THE ORDER. Delivery options are as follows:

Your selected merchandise is delivered to your home. You will be responsible for moving all items to the desired location inside your home. All unpacking, uncrating and removal/disposal of packaging materials is also the customers responsibility. This is the most economic delivery service but requires varying customer effort.

With the Premium Delivery service, you have 2 professional movers who will deliver your selected merchandise to your home. They will deliver to the room you desire including up a maximum of 3 flights of stairs. Assembly service for certain furniture items can be requested at an additional charge with Premium Delivery. This delivery service is especially recommended for heavy items and items requiring extensive assembly.

In-Stock Items:
If the items selected are in stock, please allow up to two (2) weeks for delivery. It is not always possible to guarantee an exact date of delivery due to many factors. However, an expected date of delivery will be provided that is normally very accurate.
Special Order Items:
At VikingHome, we have an inventory exceeding $2,000,000 of fine, contemporary furniture for you to select from. Even with this investment, it is not possible to stock every piece of merchandise in every variation. We may need to order your merchandise directly from the manufacturer. Time frames will vary as many of our product lines are brought by container over the ocean from Europe and other places around the globe.
ANY ITEM THAT IS A SPECIAL ORDER CAN NOT BE CANCELLED ONCE PLACED.
At the time of order, we strive to provide you with an accurate arrival date. This arrival date is based on confirmation information from the manufacturer. On occasion, these dates change. VikingHome will strive to make you aware of changes to the original estimate as they become known to us - that is our promise to you.

Delivery Appointments:
When your items ship from our company warehouse, we will notify you via phone and/or email. When your order arrives at the local delivery station the shipping company will call to notify you and then, together, you can schedule a home delivery date and time.
Receiving Your Merchandise - Always Inspect Your Items!:
Please follow the steps below when delivery occurs. Most deliveries go very smoothly and are without issues. However, please follow the steps below to avoid problems with delivery:
Inspect carefully all boxes BEFORE the driver leaves
If you have concern regarding damage to any of your merchandise, OPEN the boxes and INSPECT
If damage has occurred, WRITE ON THE SHIPPING DOCUMENT the # of pieces and damage detail
Accept undamaged items, refuse damaged items
Call VIKINGHOME.COM immediately at 800-277-0730
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any damage that occurs in transit is covered by the carrier. BUT, you must document the damage upon arrival. The freight carrier considers the final recipient (you) the judge as to whether or not there is damage to items. Upon inspection of merchandise, ALWAYS write down on the Shipping Document any damages found.
